Distilleries
de Bagnols & S.O.G.E.C. Réunies is located over a surface area of
220.000 square meters in an area devoted to the viticulture and wine
production.
It
was acquired as a subsidiary of the Bertolino Group to strengthen
its presence in Europe and, specifically, in France, an enormous producer
of wine.
Owing
to its location amidst the greenery of the countryside, and far from any
towns, the factory is perfectly
integrated in a natural and environmental context, since it is
surrounded by a 70.000 square metres of pine forest.
Its
production consists mainly in the production of alcohol, through distillation
from marc, lees and wine, and of calcium tartrate from wine lees.
Production
of calcium
tartrate ranges between 1.700 and 3.000 Tons per year, completely shipped
to I.C.V. S.p.A, a company belonging to the Group that manufactures Tartaric Acid.
Distilleries
de Bagnols & S.O.G.E.C. Reuniés also acts as a distributor of
alcohol and other products produced by other companies of the group in the
French Market, taking advantage of its convenient logistical position.
